Cristina Helena Almeida de Carvalho

Cristina Helena Almeida de Carvalho is Professor of Department of Educational Administration and Planning, School of Education, Universidade de Brasília (UNB). She has a PhD in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) and has experience in teaching and researching in Education Policy, especially in expansion and financing of higher education. She was also a consultant for UNESCO at the Ministry of Education (MEC) and for Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP).

Stephen Hunt

Dr Stephen Hunt is a Research Associate on CGHE’s local higher education engagement research programme. Stephen’s current research concerns alternative providers in the UK higher education sector, such as private and for profit institutions, overseas providers, MOOCs, and colleges of further education. More specifically, he is engaged in designing a survey of all providers of higher education in the UK, which is scheduled to run from 2016.
