Professor Jürgen Enders and Professor Rajani Naidoo join CGHE
Professor Jürgen Enders and Professor Rajani Naidoo from the University of Bath have joined CGHE, and will be working on two of the Centre’s research projects.
Professor Enders will contribute to research on The governance of higher education in Europe and the UK. He joins a project team including Michael Shattock and Aniko Horvath (both UCL Institute of Education), and Ellen Hazelkorn and Andrew Gibson (both Dublin Institute of Technology). The project investigates the structures and processes of higher education governance between global templates, national patterns and local orders in international comparative perspectives.
Professor Naidoo will contribute to research on Pathways to personal and public good: understanding access to, student experiences of, and outcomes from South African undergraduate higher education. The project investigates the conditions and effects of access to higher education in South Africa and the pathways from an undergraduate education to the public good.
Professor Naidoo and Professor Enders are affiliated with the University of Bath’s International Centre for Higher Education Management (ICHEM).
