Call for papers on purpose of the future university

Both calls are issued in relation to the conference The purpose of the future university, 6-8 November 2017, co-hosted by Centre for Higher Education Futures and Centre for Teaching Development and Digital Media, Aarhus University.

The first call is for the special issue titled ‘Imagining the future university’, guest edited by Søren S.E. Bengtsen (Aarhus University) and Ronald Barnett (UCL Institute of Education), in the journal Philosophy and Theory in Higher Education (Edited by John Petrovic, University of Alabama). The second call is for the special issue titled ‘Revisiting the idea of the university’, guest edited by Søren S.E. Bengtsen and Asger Sørensen (Aarhus University), in the journal Danish Yearbook of Philosophy (Edited by Finn Collin, University of Copenhagen, and Asger Sørensen, Aarhus University).
