Registrations open for CGHE Annual Conference 2022: Higher education knowledge in a plural world
The CGHE Annual Conference will return for its seventh edition this year, online and free for all to attend. You can discover more on the dedicated conference website here.
Keynote speakers include Trish Greenhalgh, Professor of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford, who will be presenting ‘Science in the public eye: communicating and debating research findings in real time in a global public health crisis’. This year’s Burton R. Clark Lecture on Higher Education will be given by Peter Scott, Emeritus Professor of Higher Education Studies, UCL on ‘Sagas of contemporary higher education: foreground and hinterland’. There will be further keynotes from Adam Habib, Director of SOAS and Keri Facer, Professor of Educational & Social Futures, University of Bristol.
There will be panel discussions on ‘The future of international student mobility’, ‘Broadening the epistemic agenda: widening Web of Science and Scopus, and beyond’, ‘Coloniality and racism in higher education’, and ‘It’s about more than employability: Alternative views of higher education and the economy’.
There will also be updates from CGHE’s various research projects and further presentations will be announced in the coming weeks.
