Simon Marginson appointed Professor of Higher Education at the University of Oxford

Professor Marginson is currently Professor of International Higher Education at the UCL Institute of Education, prior to which he was Professor of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne and Professor of Education at Monash University. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Higher Education, and a member of the Editorial Board of the Tsinghua Journal of Education.

Professor Marginson will continue to lead CGHE in his new role and, subject to the signing of a new CGHE partner agreement, the University of Oxford will become one of the Centre’s university partners, joining the UCL Institute of Education, Australian National University, the University of Bath, the University of Cape Town, Dublin Institute of Technology, Durham University, Hiroshima University, Lancaster University, Leiden University, Lingnan University, the University of Michigan, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Sheffield.
